"Enrique is a knowledgeable about the history and culture, caring, and a dog loving man! My husband and I loved the hike ! Great workout and amazing to do with the dogs! Bring water, hat and sunglasses, camera, money for donations and next time I’ll bring gloves for my hands when climbing up and down rocks. Great experience! I’m in awe how he can do this almost every day! Inspiring!!"
"Such a wonderful view from the top. The hike is easy and short but because there are a lot of people and the path is narrow you can’t go up fast."
"Had the pleasure of doing this hike twice June 11 & 13 ... Enrique is a spiritual soul. He will speak to you about the physical energy of the mountain and its positive effects on the human mind. Do try breathing into the mountain slats at the top. Enrique will guide you. Dogs are friendly and Super buddies to have on the hike. Bring water. After the 1st general group stop, prepare yourself to stop twice on the way up if you are not used to heat walk/climb. I say that because oftentimes you do rely on upper strength to pull you up. Your cardio will elevate. Remember, no rush to the top. Enrique and his guides stay there for quite a while allowing you to see Lands end and the backside as well as the beautiful town of Cabo San Lucas... I did it twice for a reason... Enjoy ...."
Guided hikes take place daily, Sunday through Friday, promptly at 8 AM, so plan to arrive on time to join the group.
Be sure to bring plenty of water, a hat, and sunglasses, as the hike can be demanding, particularly in the heat. It's recommended to bring some cash for donations to support Enrique's dog training and rescue camp. For those less accustomed to climbing, consider bringing gloves for assisting with grip when navigating rocks.
