Arizona travelers have a new way to reach Cabo. JSX began nonstop service from Scottsdale Airport (SCF) to Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSW) on October 8, 2026, which means you can skip Phoenix Sky Harbor on the way out and the crowds at Los Cabos International when you land.

Scottsdale joins Dallas Love Field and Los Angeles as JSX's third gateway to Cabo San Lucas. JSX CEO Alex Wilcox said Cabo had been "at the top of our Scottsdale customers' wish list" since the airline arrived at the Airpark. Los Cabos Tourism marked the launch by hosting more than 40 Scottsdale-area travel advisors with JSX for an evening that included a tour of the jet.

    The Route at a Glance

    • From: Scottsdale Airport (SCF), 14700 N. Airport Dr., Scottsdale, AZ 85260

    • To: Cabo San Lucas International Airport (CSW)

    • Schedule: Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, moving to daily flights in peak season

    • Fares: introductory fares started at $499 one-way

    • Included: at least two checked bags (weight and size limits apply), snacks and drinks including cocktails, Starlink Wi-Fi, and generous legroom

    • Check-in: at least 45 minutes before departure

    Why JSX Is Different

JSX flies small jets out of private terminals instead of the main commercial terminals. In Scottsdale, that means checking in at Scottsdale Airport rather than Sky Harbor, with no long terminal walks or big security lines.

The 45-minute check-in deadline applies to international flights like this one. JSX's domestic flights use a shorter 20-minute cutoff, so don't mix them up. Frequent flyers can also earn with Club JSX, the airline's loyalty program.

Which Cabo Airport You Land At

This is the detail most travelers miss. Most flights to Los Cabos land at Los Cabos International (SJD) near San José del Cabo. JSX lands at Cabo San Lucas International (CSW), a smaller airport just northwest of Cabo San Lucas and the only privately owned international airport in Mexico. You may also see it listed under its older code, CSL.

    • Customs and immigration are handled right at the airport.

    • The Cabo San Lucas marina and main hotel strip are about 15 to 20 minutes away by car.

    • If you're staying in San José del Cabo, plan on roughly 50 minutes by car.

    • Taxis are available, but a pre-arranged transfer is the easier option with a group or a lot of luggage.

    Before You Fly

    • Bring a valid passport. This is an international flight.

    • Check current fares and the peak-season daily schedule at jsx.com, since introductory pricing can change.

    • Review JSX's weight and size limits for checked bags before you pack.

    • Give yourself a buffer beyond the 45-minute cutoff, especially on your first trip from SCF.

    Where to Stay

Landing on the Cabo San Lucas side puts you close to downtown, the marina, the Tourist Corridor and Pedregal. Browse every hotel, resort and vacation rental company on our Los Cabos lodging page, including:

What to Do When You Land

The marina is the center of the action on this side of the peninsula. It is where you'll find fishing charters, yacht charters and boat trips out to El Arco.
