"The Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is without a doubt the best resort we have ever stayed at, and the property itself is truly unlike any other. From the moment you pass through the gorgeous 300-foot tunnel and receive a welcome margarita, to the moment you arrive back at the airport and have a staff member check your bags and walk you to your gate, you are treated like royalty. The staff are some of the kindest and most hardworking people we have ever met, and even the fellow guests were a joy to get to know. The attention to detail here is breathtaking, from the stunning architecture of the rooms to the daily delivery of fresh chips, guacamole, and Coronitas. The dining was equally impressive. We had the most delicious meals at Don Manuel’s and got to experience the spectacular cliffside setting of El Farallon. I cannot say enough good things about this breathtaking property and the world-class service provided. I can assure you we will be back soon!"
"Beautiful property. Private personal plunge pool on balcony. Incredible views for whale watching, relaxing. Ambiance 10/10 Room Service is fantastic. Turn down service is notable. Cookies, clean up, te and coffee prep. Fresh guacamole, salsa, chips and coronitas every evening delivered to your room around 4 pmt complimentary. 3 great restaurants and fantastic lounge areas and pools. Staff is courteous, attentive and go above and beyond. Recommend the private shuttle to and from the airport. Walk to downtown is easy and close. El Farallon at sunset 👌"
"We stayed in a king room w/ water front views, fantastic view. The hvac system is loud for light sleepers.. it turns on and off in the middle of the night and at times, I can hear my neighbors flushing the toilets/walking. The service was slightly above average. The location is prime for many local whale watching and dolphin activites. There is also complimentary photoshoot; the cost of the photos were on the high end, almost $40-$50 for 1 digital photo, I think photography is new service offered. The photographer we had was polite and energetic, thanks here! Raquel and the concierge team were responsive and helpful. We had some trouble wat the adult beach chairs during prime time 12pm, one of the the staff was not helpful and kept shifting us to the kids pool. I think the staff was having a bad day and I just happened to be the fall guy. I had to ask different pool staff and he was able to help me find a vacant pool chair. Not sure if anything else could have been done if this was shared during my time there. Overall, besides that one service with the beach chairs, this service is amazing. There's also a bakery and coffee shop, the gentlemen is very nice and polite! The Cococoffee was delicious! The Pedregal burger was a treat, very delicious! Everytime we walked through the tunnel, we were offered a ride but we loved the tunnel walk!"
Given the opportunities for whale watching and enjoying outdoor amenities, aim for the cooler, drier months from roughly November to April for optimal weather.
